The signing of the Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North, the sixth Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Australasia, was announced by Hilton (NYSE: HLT). Hilton will operate the newly built 129-room resort in cooperation with Spring Hill Property Group Pty Ltd, which is part of Image Developments. Hotel building is set to begin this year and open in early 2024.
The hotel will be strategically located 13 kilometres from Brisbane Airport, in the north of the city’s central business district (CBD), providing convenient access to all parts of the CBD, as well as easy walking distance to many city centre attractions and Fortitude Valley, Brisbane’s nightlife capital.
Foodies will like the hotel’s closeness to Howard Smith Wharves and Eagle Street Pier, while leisure travellers will appreciate the hotel’s near to St Andrew’s War Memorial and Royal Brisbane Hospitals, Victoria Park, and the RNA Showgrounds.
When Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North opens, it will provide travellers an upmarket and economical hotel choice. The hotel was designed by Hayes Anderson Lynch Architects. The hotel will have 129 rooms, a full-service restaurant and bar, conference rooms, a fitness centre, and The Shop, a 24-hour grab-and-go retail store with basics, local beverages, and gourmet treats.
Hilton is continuing to pursue the introduction of more of its award-winning brands to the state of Queensland. With the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North, Hilton will have five hotels in Queensland, including two in Brisbane.
